International meeting on the role of Power Exchanges in the coupled European energy markets
The 3rd international high level meeting, “Energy Commodities Conference 2017”, is going to take place in Athens on Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th of May 2017, in “Athinais” Multicultural Center. Part of the discussion will be the principal evolutions of the Power Markets in CEE and SEE, as part of the planned European Single Market. Antonis Metaxas, Ass. Professor of E.U. Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, has been invited to present his analysis on “Capacity Markets and European State Aid Law”.

Prof. Antonis Metaxas' presentation at the International Conference on the “Future of Europe” organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is organizing an International Conference under the aegis of H.E. the President of the Republic, Mr. Prokopis Pavlopoulos, on the subject of “The Future of Europe,” on Monday, 13 March 2017, at 10:00 a.m., at the Foreign Ministry's Kranidiotis Amphitheatre, 1 Akadimias Street.
Leading Academics from Greece and abroad will participate in the conference. Antonis Metaxas, Ass. Professor of E.U. Law, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens will present his analysis on “The role of European law and the importance of constitutionalisation for the Union's future”.
