“The critical legal parameters for Energy Communities, energy offsetting, wind offshore and other provisions of the new law”

Today’s front-page article published on Energypress, edited by the Law Firm “Metaxas & Associates”, on the legal assessment of the multi-law plan of the Ministry of Environment and Energy, titled “Renaming of the Regulatory Authority for Energy to a Regulatory Authority for Waste, Energy and Water and expansion of its scope with responsibilities for water services and municipal waste management, strengthening water policy – Modernisation of legislation on the use and production of electricity from renewable energy sources through the incorporation of EU Directives 2018/2001 and 2019/944 – More specific provisions on renewable energy sources and environmental protection”, which was voted on 21. 03. 2023 by the Plenary Session of the Parliament.
