Metaxas & Associates Law Firm is glad to announce its participation in the forthcoming hybrid distinguished 3rd Renewable & Storage Forum organized by energypress.gr that will take place on October 13th & 14th 2021. The conference will broadcast on live-streaming with free access via energypress.gr and its social media.
Key political personalities, distinguished academics and business leaders of the Greek Energy Market will once again brainstorm, openly discuss and put forward new proposals on all the issues that will be at the forefront of this year’s Renewable & Storage Forum, focusing mainly on the operation of Target Model, the participation of RES in the markets, the new scheme of competitive processes, the RES Special Account support system, the pricing, the resilience and the needs of the networks. Energy storage, along with the recording of the progress at technical, institutional and regulatory level, and the technological developments of alternative forms of energy production and storage, such as Hydrogen, as well as the new data regarding the financing of new RES and storage stations will be focal issues.

Virtual Event: Europe Under Challenge?
On the occasion of the latest book publication of Prof. Dr. A. Metaxas "The qualitative specificity of EU's legal order", a virtual event is being organized titled " Europe under challenge ? “ by Sakkoulas Publications with the kind support of the Center for European Constitutional Law | Themistokles and Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation. The event will take place on the 29th of September at 18:30 o'clock.
The panel will chair Mr. Dimitrios Skaltsounis, President of the Hellenic Council of State. Speakers are Mr. Ioannis Sarmas, President of the Hellenic Court of Audit, Mr. Christos Rammos, Vice President h.c. of the Hellenic Council of State and Prof. Xenophon Contiades, President of the Center for European Constitutional Law.

Prof. Dr. Antonis Metaxas was invited to provide his input in the special editorial of "Lawyer Magazine” on Digital Markets Act (DMA).
The DMA is European Commission’s legislative proposal aiming at creating a safer digital place. Prof. Metaxas highlights the importance of DMA in shaping the EU’s digital future as it provides new effective tools for EU’s competition policy reinforcement, eliminating unfair practices in digital markets.
