Fields of Expertise
Dr. Anastasios Pavlopoulos is an Attorney at Law admitted before the Supreme Court of Greece (Thessaloniki Bar Association, 2011) and holds a Ph.D. in Public Law. His practice focuses on energy and environmental law —with particular emphasis on permitting and licensing— as well as spatial and urban planning, public procurement, human rights, and jurisdictional/competence disputes involving independent regulatory authorities. He represents companies and public or private entities in complex administrative disputes, primarily before the regular administrative courts and the Council of State (Greece’s Supreme Administrative Court).
Alongside practice, he maintains a strong academic profile. He has taught at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Hellenic Open University, and also at universities abroad. He is the author of two monographs and has published more than 20 scholarly studies, journal articles, and book chapters. He regularly presents his work at academic conferences and specialized professional events in Greece and internationally.
